About Eyet Law

Client-centered litigation. Sound business formation strategy. Thorough tax strategy. All in one place.

Eyet Law was founded with one purpose in mind: to provide clients with excellent service for multiple needs.

Why go from attorney to attorney when you’re starting a business?

Why search out law firm after law firm to handle tax issues?

Legal cases are complex, but our team is skilled at crafting custom solutions to these complex problems.

Eyet Law was formed in 2019 by attorney Matthew Eyet. His experience includes more than a decade in handling litigation, tax, and corporate law in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Matthew spent five years as principal of a boutique litigation and transactional firm in Bedminster, NJ.  Prior to that, he was a tax associate at WeiserMazars, guiding clients through a range of state, local, and federal tax concerns.

Matthew’s legal and educational training also gives him a unique experience to solve business issues for clients. Not only the valedictorian of his class at Widener University School of Law, but he also earned a Masters in Tax Law from New York University. This dual body of knowledge allows him to provide exceptional guidance in civil litigation, tax controversy and planning, and business formation and corporate law.

Matthew was also named to the Super Lawyers list from 2017-2022. This selection is performed by an independent firm to determine which lawyers in New Jersey have reached a high degree of personal achievement and peer recognition. The selection process can be seen at www.superlawyers.com.

Business Law

Question

What are the important things to legally protect in your business?

Business Law

Answer

Eyet Law benefits from a collaborative network of colleagues and referral sources. In turn, clients benefit from an expansive body of knowledge and a big picture view of your business.

Litigation

Question

Will my case have to go to court?

Litigation

Answer

At Eyet Law, we go for a settlement-based approach. Going to court isn’t always the best solution. While we’re prepared to fight for you in a courtroom, we always look for solutions that can save you time and money by avoiding costly litigation. In fact, we’re able to resolve a significant portion of cases through settlement rather than trial.

Tax Law

Question

What happens if we get a tax penalty from the IRS?

Tax Law

Answer

Finding the needle in the haystack – that’s what we do best. We comb through details and draw from our broad expertise for our clients. Eyet Law saved a client from an automatically imposed $50,000 IRS penalty. How? By looking at extension request patterns and uncovering an error rate that resulted in the case being dismissed.

Solving problems means listening.
